How many kinds of gate

Mainly half-height gate are tripod turnstile, wing gate, swing gate and so on. Full-height gate include half-open gate, revolving gate and so on. Each gate has its outlook, characteristic, function and advantage.

1.       Tripod turnstile:  There are mechanical turnstile and electrical turnstile. Most of them are designed as box, bridge, vertical type, vehicular type, double heads, wall-hung type and so on. So, tripod turnstile is in a wide range of passage gate area.

Tripod turnstile is not limited by the above types. It can be designed as client requirement, only it can meet core unit installation conditions.

2.      Swing gate mainly include box style and column style. In the half-height swing gate’s cabinet, there are some differences between the core units. They are mechanical structure and electrical structure.

Mechanical structure: Adv--Simple principle, low develop cost; Disadv—Bad collide protection.

Electrical structure: Adv—Strong collide protection, correct positioning, more safe; Disadv—High develop cost, high machining precision.

3.       Wing gate also named fan-shaped gate, extendable gate and so on. Half-height and full-height are two different kind of wing gate. Wing gate can reach high speed to open/close the door. The key point of wing gate is security. There are 4 protective measures: 1. Sensors protection; 2. Motor overcurrent protection; 3. Overvoltage protection; 4. Door’s auto-open when power off. At present, only few manufacturers could meet these requirements.  

Disadvantage: 1. Cabinet needs to take the passage space; 2. It needs to be installed as serious standard about the passage width.

Advantage: Better tailing protection than swing gate.
